In a surprising partnership that defies conventional predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the authorized release, "A strange encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of forbidden rituals and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.

The adventure concentrates on "bizarre trials and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Transformations

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Features

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to several objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
