Substantial Hailstones and Widespread Impact
Homeowners witnessed large ice chunks reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that various areas across Queensland had been impacted by significant hail.

Meanwhile, around one thousand energy customers in Victoria also faced energy failures after Melbourne saw its heaviest rainfall in a year and a half.
Emergency response teams responded to nearly 600 requests for assistance across the state, primarily for structural issues but also for downed trees and inundation.

Humid circumstances were forecast to persist along much of the state's eastern regions this week as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coast.
Tuesday was expected to become the heaviest precipitation period, with ongoing storm activity predicted across multiple regions of both regions.
